The Doors High Top Chucks

Converse issued this 2008 line of high tops in tribute to Jim Morrison and The Doors as part of their century series of chucks. The shoes come with special tags. There is a circular tag that identifies the series as part of their Rock & Roll originals. A second tag describes The Doors this way: "Naming themselves after mind-expanding passages of perception, the Doors brought an incendiary, spiritual and revolutionary mystique to rock & roll. Led by one of the greatest frontmen of all time, the "Lizard King" Jim Morrison, they blended fearless musical exploration, insurrectionary poetry and Dionysian abandon, helping to transform their time, music and culture. There are two models shown here, a black and white high top with black laces and a "The Doors" logo on the outside, and an orange, tan, and brown patches model with black trim and laces high top with a graphic of Jim Morrison.
