Since Converse started making Chuck Taylors in a variety of colors, various special fabric patterns, including herringbone woolen plaid fabric models have been produced from time to time. Other than leather Chucks, the plaid models are the only ones not made from canvas. Another type of plaid, in red and green is used in the Christmas holiday pattern shown elsewhere.
